I have been in the Childbirth field for 33 years. I have experienced Home Births, and Hospital Births, while assisting in over 150 births. In 2004 I became a CAPPA Certified Labor Doula, and then In 2005 a CAPPA Certified Childbirth Educator. Lactation Educator Coulselor certification thru UCSD.
I am also trained as a Happiest Baby Educator.
I have 6 grown-up children in which 3 were born at home with a Midwife or Doctor, and one emergency C/Section, plus 2 step-daughters. I have assisted and been there for the births of many of my grand-children. My goal is to Educate women in their choices and rights as a laboring woman, to help them achieve the type of birth they want.
